Entry Level Programs (U6 – U10)

Fun, Fundamentals & Mountain Confidence

The Entry Level Program is the perfect combination of fun, skill development, safety, and skier etiquette for young athletes who are learning the basics or looking to improve their skiing skills.

This all-mountain program introduces athletes to a wide variety of mountain experiences while helping them develop strong skiing fundamentals and confidence on snow.

Athletes participate in:

  • Freeskiing
  • Moguls
  • Small jumps and terrain features
  • Introductory gate training
  • Terrain exploration
  • Ski safety and mountain awareness
  • Team activities and games

Our coaches create a positive learning environment where athletes can build confidence, improve coordination, and develop a lifelong love for skiing.

At this stage, the emphasis is on:

  • Having fun
  • Developing foundational ski skills
  • Building confidence
  • Learning teamwork and sportsmanship
  • Creating safe skiing habits

Programs are designed for athletes in the U6 to U10 age categories.

Athlete Prerequisites

To get the most out of the Entry Level program, athletes should be comfortable riding the main chairlift with an adult and able to independently ski blue runs in good snow conditions. The use of ski poles is not required.

Our athletes spend most of their time exploring the mountain and developing skills on a variety of terrain. As a result, the program moves beyond beginner learning areas and Bradford's Blvd early in the season and does not include instruction on the magic carpet or T-bar.

If you're unsure whether this program is the right fit for your child, please contact us—we'd be happy to help.
