VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Parent volunteers are essential to the success of the Kimberley Alpine Team. From training days and club events to races and the Nancy Greene Festival, our programs simply could not operate without the support of our families.

Volunteering is also a great way to become part of the KAT community, meet other families, and learn more about the sport. If you're new to ski racing, don't worry—most volunteer roles are straightforward, and we do our best to pair experienced volunteers with those who are learning the ropes.

Volunteer Commitment

Each family is expected to contribute a minimum of 3 volunteer days (18 hours) per season.

Volunteer opportunities are available both on and off the hill, ensuring there is a role for everyone, whether you ski or not.

As a general guideline:

  • 1 volunteer day = approximately 6 hours
  • Half-day positions = approximately 3 hours
